- Perform services and repairs on Caterpillar earthmoving equipment, Finlay crushing equipment, Scania prime movers, light vehicles, and various other machinery.
- Diagnose repair needs for scheduled vehicle services using diagnostic equipment for in-shop testing.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop and inventory area.
- Assist with disassembling and reassembling vehicles, engines, and other components.
- Order necessary vehicle parts to complete repairs.
- Travel to project sites as needed to perform repairs and services.
- Participate in daily Toolbox/Pre-start meetings in line with WHS policies and procedures.
- Accurately complete timesheets, recording labor hours to specific repairs or tasks, and submit documentation on time.

Industrial Spray Painter / Panel Beater
S.C. Heinrich & Co is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Spraypainter & Panelbeater to join our dedicated team. If you have a passion for high-quality finishes, precision repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform spraypainting & panelbeating on heavy machinery, vehicles, and equipment, including Caterpillar earthmoving equipment, Scania prime movers, and other industrial assets.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Conduct panel repairs, including dent removal, structural restoration, and light welding to restore equipment to optimal condition.
- Use diagnostic tools and techniques to assess damage and determine repair requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment in compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Participate in daily Toolbox/Pre-start meetings as required by our WHS standards.
- Order necessary materials, such as paint, and parts, to complete tasks efficiently.
- Accurately complete timesheets, recording labor hours to specific repairs or tasks, and submit documentation on time.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in industrial spraypainting & panelbeating, ideally with heavy machinery or vehicles.
- Some experience in welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, or arc) is welcomed.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes and repairs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to varying project demands.

Plant Operator

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate designated plant equipment as directed.
- Perform labouring tasks and other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Operations Manager.
- Attend daily Toolbox/Pre-start meetings and adhere to WHS policies, including Covid Safety Site requirements.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and report servicing/maintenance needs to the Operations Manager.
- Carry out basic maintenance on plant and safety equipment per company safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, delivery dockets, and WHS documentation.
- Complete and submit timesheets and documentation accurately and on time.
