Heinrich & Co Pty Ltd has a commitment to informing all workers and contractors (‘personnel’) of their obligations as they relate to their duties.
We incorporate the ideals of safer work environments for personnel by our commitment and compliance to Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
We recognise our various roles within the Chain of Responsibility and have developed policies, procedures and systems checks to facilitate compliance within our networks.
Modules and Actions
In order to achieve our compliance, S.C. Heinrich & Co Pty Ltd is committed to the following actions and practices:
Driver Fatigue: Scheduling and rest breaks, monitoring of work and driving hours, training and awareness sessions for relevant personnel.
Driver Health: Medicals of a standard acceptable to “Assessing Fitness to Drive” requirements, programs encouraging health & wellbeing of our personnel.
Speeding: Scheduling, policies, procedures and ongoing education.
Load Restraining: Equipment design, policy, procedures and training for our personnel.
Mass Management: Vehicle specification, vehicle specific load patterns, load sheets and containerisation.
Ongoing Vehicle Maintenance: All vehicles are inspected and maintained in-line with manufacturer’s requirements.
Training: Chain of Responsibility is incorporated within induction and refresher training for all relevant personnel.
Audit and Compliance
S.C. Heinrich & Co Pty Ltd conducts internal audits and checks, monitoring to achieve our goal of Chain of Responsibility compliance and a safer work environment for personnel and customers as part of our culture of safety.
